Council Bradshaw
Before life at DVM, Council spent nine years as Vice President of Creative Services for FOX8/WGHP Television in High Point, North Carolina. While at FOX8/WGHP, he helped position them as the number one FOX affiliate station in the country and helped secure their News products as the Piedmont’s Market leader. Even with his management duties, Council thrived on being knee-deep in all things creative with his team as they crafted commercials, promos, radio, etc. for the station.
Prior to his outstanding tenure at FOX8, Council moved to the Piedmont area from Greenville, North Carolina where he was Promotions Manager for WITN 7. Over the course of his career, Council has achieved high accolades by being recognized with seven Emmy Awards, two Tele Awards and numerous Pro Max Silver Medallion and Addy awards.
Council enjoys being involved with Non-Profit and Community projects that truly make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. When Hurricane Floyd affected his own family in eastern North Carolina, Council helped launch and orchestrate a successful Flood Relief program with FOX8/ WGHP and the Salvation Army. Together they helped load ten tractor trailers filled with needed supplies for victims of Hurricane Floyd.
Council is a North Carolina native who enjoys spending time with his family, competition target shooting, playing his guitar and water skiing. He resides in Colfax with his wife, Tracy.
