Equipment Upgrades at Deja View
It feels like we never NOT have a wish list of things we’d like to have in the field while we’re shooting. Even though our wives tell us to stop buying stuff, we’re constantly looking for ways that we can improve quality and achieve more efficient production. We’re pleased to offer some great new gear that will do just that.
We now have a 6×12’ grip trailer that we’ve pimped out with custom shelves and attachments to pack all of our field production gear into. Dolly, track, jib arm, lighting, grip, carts, a Cheryl Tiegs poster from 1985. It’s now always with us and has proven to allow us to be more efficient and creative in the field.
We also just upgraded our HD lens on the Varicam to the Fujinon HA16×6.3 lens with 2x extender. The difference in quality over our previous 18×7.6 lens is amazing and we’re excited about offering it to customers.
Lastly, we’ve added some lighting. We now offer…
• the K5600 Joker Bug 800 HMI light kit with chimera
• an additional Kino Flo Diva 400 lights (total of 2 Diva’s and 1 4’x4 bank Kino)
• An ETC Source Four light with 50º and 26º lenses with various cookies
