Goodyear Racing Wet Tire Shine
For a recent spot for Goodyear Racing Wet Tire Shine we were able to use both our Panasonic Varicam and our JVC GY-HD100U cameras during the shoot. It took place at two locations in Mooresville, NC with one being the PIT Training Center for NASCAR. The Varicam was mounted on a 32’ crane and the JVC was on sticks or handheld. Our intent was to put the JVC to the test to see how well it would match up with the Varicama and we were pleasantly surprised. Color and clarity matched extremely well. Even with the fast action, the JVC HDV footage looked great with no artifacting. It’s nice to know that this little HDV camera can be a solid second camera for certain Varicam shoots.
